Our process is a joyous marriage of traditional and modern techniques, a romance of art and science. After careful harvesting of the agave by skilled jimadores, we employ advanced methods and equipment to extract the plant’s precious juice. This innovation is our gift to you.

Crafted in small batches to ensure absolute quality, our tequilas are fermented with a proprietary yeast and distilled to our exacting standards.

Aged to Perfection

After continuous column distillation, our Plata tequila is estate-bottled, capturing its pure, vibrant spirit. Our Reposado and Añejo tequilas are set aside to be aged in American White Oak bourbon barrels from seven to 17 months. The carefully managed aging process imparts color, richness of flavor, and the nuance that sets Republic Tequila apart.

Respect for the environment and a commitment to sustainability are core values at Republic Tequila. The pulp remaining after the extraction of agave juice is recycled producing steam that powers our entire distillery operation. The circle is completed when the resulting ash is utilized by local farmers to fertilize and replenish the fields for the next generation of agave.

Plata from Republic Tequila

Meet Plata

Republic Plata Tequila is unaged but allowed to rest three to five days after distillation. Aeration along with the resting period results in an ultra-smooth, clear spirit. With a silky feel, our herbal, spicy sweet Plata is the ideal tequila for your favorite cocktail. Plata increases a drink’s quality to exceed the expectations of any tequila connoisseur.

Spicy Water Cooler

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Plata Tequila
  • 4 ounces Sweet and Sour Mix
  • 1/2 ounce Orange Juice
  • 1/4 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Organic Agave Nectar
  • 3 Watermelon Cubes
  • 1 Slice of Jalapeño

Instructions

Muddle watermelon and jalapeño in shaker. Pour remaining ingredients into shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a Collins glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and watermelon slice.

Spicy Water Cooler glass
Lagerita

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Plata Tequila
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce Simple Syrup or Agave Nectar
  • 2 ounces Light Beer (light in color, not calories)

Instructions

Combine tequila, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup or agave nectar in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. Strain into a pilsner glass or beer mug. Top off with beer and garnish with fresh lemon wedge.

Lagerita glass
Diablo

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Plata Tequila
  • 4 ounces Ginger Ale
  • 1/2 ounce Chambord
  • Half of a Fresh Lime

Instructions

Pour tequila and ginger ale in a rock glass filled with ice. Top with Chambord and squeeze in fresh lime. Mix, garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

Diablo glass
Rancho Ancho

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Plata Tequila
  • 1 cup Cubed Seedless Organic Watermelon
  • 1/2 ounce Organic Agave Nectar
  • 1/2 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 3 pinches of Ancho Chili Powder

Instructions

Add the watermelon and chili powder to a pint glass and muddle into juice. Add lime juice, tequila, and agave nectar and top with ice. Cover and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a pint glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and a pinch of chili powder.

Rancho Ancho glass
Cucumber Mint Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Plata Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Agave Nectar
  • 1 ounce Water
  • 2 Pieces Cucumber 1"x1" (cut into smaller pieces)
  • 4 Fresh Mint Leaves

Instructions

Muddle cucumber and mint leaves in a tall mixing glass. Combine remaining ingredients and shake over ice. Pour into glass and garnish with mint.

Cucumber Mint Margarita glass
  • Color & Body Clear tones of agave syrup with medium body.
  • Aroma A harmonious blend of vanilla, black olive, cooked agave and wood.
Reposado from Republic Tequila

Meet Reposado

Republic Reposado Tequila is aged for seven months in American White Oak bourbon barrels. This aging process allows the tequila to take on the complex characteristics of the oak barrels, while still keeping the sweet properties of the agave plant. Reposado starts with a burst of apple and eucalyptus, with a long finish of oak and mint.

  • Taste Slightly sweet with clear notes of apple, eucalyptus and oak.
  • Finish Pleasingly warm spirit notes that are smooth on the palate, leaving behind a hint of sweetness.

Berry Mint Breezer

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 4 ounces Sweet and Sour Mix
  • 1/2 ounce Orange Juice
  • 1/4 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Organic Agave Nectar
  • 2 Blackberries
  • 2 Sprigs of Mint

Instructions

Muddle blackberries and mint in shaker. Pour remaining ingredients into shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a Collins glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge and blackberry.

Berry Mint Breezer glass
Paloma

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 1 ounce Agave Nectar
  • 3 ounces Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 ounces Club Soda

Instructions

Combine tequila, agave nectar and juice in cocktail shaker. Shake and strain over ice in rocks glass. Top with soda. Garnish with a slice of Ruby Red Grapefruit.

Paloma glass
Texas Sky Cooler

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 2 ounces Pineapple Juice
  • Dash of Chambord
  • Club Soda

Instructions

Build tequila, pineapple juice, and Chambord over ice in a highball glass. Fill with club soda. Stir and garnish with a slice of pineapple.

Texas Sky Cooler glass
Mint Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1 ounce Club Soda
  • 6 Medium-Sized Mint Leaves

Instructions

In a tall mixing glass, muddle mint with simple syrup. Add tequila, lemon juice and ice, and then shake. Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass and top with club soda. Garnish with lemon wheel and a fresh sprig of mint.

Mint Lemonade glass
Ginger & Fig Margarita

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Agave Nectar
  • 1/2 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Orange Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Fig Jam

Instructions

Shake all ingredients over ice. Strain into glass.

Ginger & Fig Margarita glass
Mexican Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 1 1/2 ounces Paula's Texas Orange or Cointreau
  • 2 ounces Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce Orange Juice
  • Splash of Sprite
  • Splash of Olive Juice

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with jalapeño-stuffed olives.

Mexican Martini glass
Mexican Macchiato

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Reposado Tequila
  • 2 ounces Coffee
  • 1/2 ounce Agave Nectar
  • 2 ounces Whipping Cream
  • Cinnamon to Grate

Instructions

In a mixing glass add coffee, agave nectar, tequila and a few grates of cinnamon. Top with ice and cover and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a martini glass. Pour whipped cream over the back of the spoon to create a layer on top of the drink, and then dust with a couple more grates of cinnamon.

  • Aroma Caramel, banana and cinnamon enfolded in complex aromas of wood.
Añejo from Republic Tequila

Meet Añejo

Republic Añejo Tequila is aged for 17 months in American White Oak bourbon barrels, resulting in deep hues and perfect balance. Our Añejo’s smooth, oaky mouth-feel exhibits an extremely complex flavor profile that is bold enough to stand alone or be mixed for an exceptional, hearty cocktail.

  • Taste Complex notes of oak followed by delicate notes of caramel, coffee and cinnamon.
  • Finish The satisfying sensation of having enjoyed a special dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Añejo Tequila (chilled)

Instructions

Pour chilled tequila in rocks glass or preferred sipping glass. Sit back and enjoy.

Tom Nall glass
Howdy Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Republic Añejo Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce Honey Syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, double strain into a coupe glass and add lemon flag as garnish.

Howdy Honey glass
Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Republic Añejo Tequila
  • 1/4 ounce Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 Orange Peel
  • 1 Lemon Peel
  • 2 dashes Mole Bitters
  • 4 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions

Muddle cinnamon syrup with orange peel, lemon peel and bitters. Add tequila and stir with large-format ice cube in rocks glass until well chilled.
