Golf for a Great Cause

Republic Tequila participated once again in the Beyond the Lights Celebrity Golf Classic at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort on May 11^th.  The tournament was started by “Friday Night Lights” stars, Kyle Chandler and Brad Leland, to raise funds for spinal cord injuries.  The funds raised from this wonderful event were donated to the charities, The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis and Texas’ own Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation.

The weather was beautiful, and the golfers were enjoying a great course, drinks, and food.  I must say, Republic Tequila was a pretty popular hole.  Who doesn’t want to pull their golf cart up to a table full of ice-cold margaritas and chilled shots?

Kyle Chandler is a huge fan of Republic Tequila, and accepted Republic’s bottle with open arms and a big smile.  He said he keeps a bottle in his freezer at all times, and his grandmother reuses the Texas bottle for BBQ Sauce. Now that’s a great idea! Thank you Kyle and Brad for letting Republic be a part of a great event!
